We are headed to DCL in November and our DS(6) is addicted to yogurt. Unfortunately, it seems to be only of the vanilla variety. Is there anyone out there who can attest to there being vanilla yogurt on board?

We need it available 24/7 if possible! ;)
Does room service accomodate if bribed? :goodvibes

So what are our best bets on getting access to vanilla yogurt at least every am as far as the breakfast choices?

THANK YOU! :disrocks:

I have seen yogurt (can't specifically say vanilla) every morning at the buffet line on Deck 9. You could certainly take extra and keep in your room beverage cooler to have throughout the day. You can certainly ask room service about it.

And you have until November to try and get your DS to try another flavor!!! LOL!!!

The yogurt on board is Dannon. Most is various flavors of "fruit on the bottom." At my request, I could get some vanilla--no fruit, but had added sugar. They did not have (or could not come up with) Dannon Light and Fit (no sugar added). You might see if you can convert him to cottage cheese with a little sweetner. I do it with lemon juice at home. They have a zillion toppings on the ship--for cereals, pancakes, etc...that you can add to yogurt or cottage cheese.

I think that the brand was Dannon in the small cups. I know that they had strawberry because that is what my kids eat. IDK about any other flavors though.

;)Thanks for the info, guys.....any and all is appreciated! :flower:
Am I going to be seen as tacky stuffing yogurt containers in my pockets to take back to our cooler? :rotfl: :confused3

Nope...plenty of people bring food back to their cabins...I always bring a few chocolate milk containers to have on hand as I am chocolate milk lover!!!

We had the chocolate milk from room service or the buffet every morning. Ummmmmm.
On the other hand, I eat yogurt everyday at home, but didn't have any on the ship. I guess I just didn't notice it since they had so many other things to eat. Couldn't wait to get back to my yogurt when I got home!

We keep yogurt at home for those times we don't have time for breakfast. So with the huge spread of cooked breakfast food, yogurt was the last thing I wanted.
We did grab a couple of cartons of yogurt on board for our still sleeping 16 year old DS since he was never up in time for breakfast on board.
