Deb..the kids and I are leaving for Anna Maria Island tomorrow morning! I'll have to let you know how it goes. My son loved it when he went in May(on your recommendation )..and has been itching to get back there ever since. Before I could say no ..he booked the rooms and air for me and the kids. How do you say no to that? Poor hubby is staying home workin' like a slave..and then taking care of the pets.

Supposedly there is free internet, so I'm hoping to check in here and report back.

Bring lots of bathing suits!! It's hot & the gulf is very inviting!! I hope the trip lives up to your expectations & that you enjoy everything!!

Thank you both..I'm exhausted from having to do laundry and packing. You sure need a vacation once your done getting ready for one. I'm sure it will be lovely. I looking forward to a little rest..maybe a drink and a nice sunset. I'm tempted to stay home with Bob and the pets,(who don't complain or talk back) and send the kids..now THAT would be a vacation!

Have a great time! Don't stay home! Instead, when you get down there send the kids off and go hide. have some of that glorious alone time! I hope you packed a cheesey, mindless novel. The last one I read was called "Drop dead, Gorgeous!" Not exactly rocket science. "Hissy Fit" was a good one too.

Yeah, and they only came down three dollars on the price they quoted me on the 4th for next year...

now granted...this was for a premium site, but they are wanting 85 for the same site they got 60 for this past month...cable isn't worth 25 extra dollars a night, not for that cable...chris keeps saying it is worth not having the coquina, i say bah humbug...

any ideas where we need to have the 4th GG next year? i can't be the only one here...steve, pete, ami, donnie, rog?

This is pretty bad, even for Texas! I hear we may hit 109 today. My DD15 starts drill team camp tomorrow and they are supposed to run! I am hoping that idea has been scrapped until it cools to 100!

Well I've already held and fed Wyatt - I forgot how small they are. The other two were really interested in his circumcision boo-boo and the gauze on it. They wanted to know how he got hurt there!
