Yes, I gave in a little today, but with MANY pillows. He wanted to be tickled.

I remember that day! Manual didn't come home with us either! Why can't they prick their heel's when they come out? You just get them comfortable with being outside and they go poking, cutting and prodding...geesh!

It's like that with everything, I guess. Those first shots! You're expected to help hold your kid still when all the time you're thinking, "Who's going to hold me up?"

My son is adopted from Russia. They do not circumsize so we had it done when we brought him home at a year old. I think it was pretty painful for him.

OH my, I am sooo sorry he had to go through that, but grateful that he didn't wait until he was older than that. I have heard horror stories.

I have a friend with a son. They're Jewish, but were not exactly practicing. Well, my friend got married and her new husband adopted her son, but wanted all customs in place. That poor boy was 5 years old! Oh my goodness! His cries about his wee-wee were just so sad! I think he messed with it some because it took such a long time to heal! That is certainly one good thing about having the procedure done at 1 or younger......they leave it alone!

Oh, he's circumsized. In fact, I don't even remember if they gave us an option...lol. j/k, I'm sure they did, but we were both for it, so no worries there.
