Women that can put up with degenerates like Pete (ok, and ME) are PRICELESS...and few and far between. We wouldnt know what to do without the boss telling us, and then allowing us to take credit for tyeing our own shoes!!!

why do you think I wear crocs? I can't tie shoes.

All that "around the tree, and through the loop with the little rabbit" it gets so CONFUSING!!!! And thats just what it takes to be able to REACH my shoes!!!

I have never seen you carry that much beer at one time....:lmao:

but you are the ultimate wife...IMHO...;)

Well thank you!

Actually he has the kids trained with hand signals when to get him another beer. And Pop Pop uses them too.

Auntie...your daughters POS boyfriend sounds like my sisters ex. We all hated him, but would she leave him????? NO! Well, she did sometimes but would always go back. One day, she called me in hysterics, wanting to move out but not having the money to. We told her we would give her the money to move but if she ever went back to him we'd take it out of her butt and I'd disown her as a sister (empty threats, but still...). It worked! He is still in her life because they have children together (those poor babies!!!!), but she is happily married to someone much more acceptable now.

So, maybe you tell her you'll forget about the $180 dollars if she kicks him to the curb????

When my oldest daughter started bringing boy friends around, if I didn't like them, I'd sit on the back step sharpening my kbar. It worked pretty well. They never knew what to expect from me partly because of my military background. Hell, sometime I wore my BDUs and camouflage face paint Most of them were downright scared of me. Fear can be a good thing at times.

Oooh, my daughter's 12. I'm going to remember that!

I had two older brothers that kept guys away. I always knew my dad didn't like someone I brought home when he would consistently forget his name from then on. When he remembered a guy's name, I knew I had a keeper - but that didn't happen until I was 30 years old!

I'm going to need that cardboard cutout of you in BDU's in about 2 years.

He practiced on ME!!! Whenever someone Al didn't approve of came to pick me up for a date... he'd scare the hell outta them (this was just after he mustarded out of the regular Army). Then I'd get all kinds of bit%y... and he'd "pretty" himself up and take me someplace. I loved the time he took me for dinner & a movie & he (at that time was 25 yrs old) got carded for a drink, and me (at 18 yrs old) didn't!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Our dad would just sit back in his recliner (beer in hand, of course) and laugh his azz off!:lmao:

My DS had a girlfriend who drove us crazy. I tried I really did, I found over time I just had to ignore it or go nuts. Thank goodness he came to his senses. It took time, but it happened. Unfortunately, it was just a month after we took everyone to WDW. Boy, just think of the money I could have saved it she hadn't been along!

on the laptop I keep having to refresh each page as I surf, my pc does it automatically. Is there a setting I need to do to get the laptop to do it automatically?

I'm trying not to over react. It isn't a fortune..but more the fact that she didn't tell me about it. It's just not like her. Which is what probably bothers me more than the money. It was mostly for gas. Oh..this is rich. "Mom do you KNOW how much gas is"...NO....at the rock we live under..we don't use gas:rolleyes1 yes, ::yes:: daughter of mine...THAT'S why I gave you extra money for it. Not much to say about that. She's paying me back. I can honestly say, until she started dating "Mr. I'm in a band" :faint: (yeah..just what every parent wants to hear) we haven't had one bit of trouble.

Only now..I would like to send her to a convent in Italy...yes,::yes:: I think that would be very educational and she's always wanted to travel. There ya go...sounds perfect..don't ya think? Anyway, thanks for letting me vent..appreciate it.

GOD...I wish they were little again,:wizard: and you could put a band aid on the knee..you could kiss them good night..or even yell at them to go to bed..but you knew where they were, and we were all under one roof...happy and safe until the next day. Well...maybe they weren't always happy, but they were safe..and I was happy.:cutie:
