Finally! I have been watching airfare for quite some time for our early December trip. We are flying out of Tulsa. (We actually live in Arkansas, but my mom lives in Tulsa and she is coming with us on this trip. So, we are going to drive to Tulsa and spend the night with her before and after. Tulsa is about a 2 1/2 hour drive for us, but even if we flew out of Little Rock it would still be about a 2 hour drive to the airport, so Tulsa just seems easier. The airport is only about 15 minutes from my mom's house.)
I haven't been able to find anything decent as far as rates go. It's been up around $400 per person.
I almost booked last week when it dropped down to about $330 per person, but I held off . . .
And boy am I glad! I checked Expedia just now (on a whim) and was able to book our flights (exact times we wanted) for $198 each roundtrip for me and my mom and half that fare for my little guy (will be 20 months old then). So, we all three have seats for a total of $615!! That is so much better than it was starting to look like we were going to have to pay!
We are traveling on American. Anybody have anything to say about them? If it's horrible, I'd just as soon not know.
Oh, will be able to pre-board with DS's carseat, etc? I guess I better start learning how to put the thing in! That's always been DH's job!
