We just bought airfare tickets for Wed Sept 19 to Sun Sept 23. This will be DD's princess: first trip to the World. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Now I just have to convince DH that we need to stay at a Deluxe! :scared: :scared: :scared:

Have you booked a resort yet? If not, you better get busy, as that falls within the free dining period, I believe. Someone correct me if not, but at this particular time, the resorts would be more full than usual, I bet.

You have put a serious damper on my excitement GrannyMinnie. Way to ruin my mood!

No we do not have a hotel yet but there are still some room only discounts available. And the dining plan won't work well for us anyway.

How exciting for you! Which deluxe do you want? Where does DH want to stay? Maybe you can talk him into the Wilderness lodge, which is a cheaper deluxe and close to the Magic Kingdom for the little one.
Let us know what you decide!

DH wants to stay value because of the price. I want to stay at Contemporary, WL or Poly because of location. We will probably spend 2 of 3 park days at MK and would like to get back to the resort easily for rests in the afternoon. DD will only be 27 months at the time so she will need naps.

Make sure to checkout the discount section of the site to see what you might be able to take advantage of - might get a moderate or better for a decent price and get your DH to agree!

PS I think Granny was just trying to be helpful in regards to the fact that the resorts are filling up for that time frame due to the specials that have been offered for awhile (like free dining) I'm sure she was not trying to dampen your mood! :):):):):)

We have reservations at ASMu Family Suites! Yea!

DH would not agree to Deluxe but would agree to this. Having a suite allows us all to sleep better. DD is not exactly a quiet sleeper.

I think grannyminnie was just trying to be helpful:)
Have a great time...there are some great photos here somewhere of the suites!
Hopefully you were able to use one of the room codes.

I did think...yikes...she better call and get a room when I first read your thread as well:) The free dining promo did get crazy.....

Hope your "princess" has a wonderful first time:) We are taking ours for her first time as well, at 14 months:)
