YIPEE!!! My hotel turmoil is over!!

Well I did it!!! I can't believe all the hours I put into making this decision!!!!! So wanna hear???

OK, first 2 nights will be staying at the Grand Californian!!! Hee hee!! At the rate of $221 per night. My friend & I sharing expenses so really just $111 a night

Then off into a taxi and onto the Anaheim Hilton!!! For only $10 more a night than I was going to pay at the Fairfield (which I must admit I feel a wee bit sad leaving behind) we will get a view room where we can see WOC & fireworks (are there fireworks every night or only on special occasions) and also breakfast buffet which is worth $23 plus tax each!!! Also newly renovated rooms!

So as you can see I'm very proud of myself and feeling like a true

See you there all you fellow Nov 3rd to Nov 8thers!!!

Sounds like you got great rates! I have only ever stayed at the Anaheim Hilton, and keep going back. I really love it. Hope you have a great trip!

Sounds great ~ when we stay onsite we always do a split stay *usually just 1 nite on site ~ but this past July the 1st two of our 4 nights were at the DLH!

I just stayed at both hotels last week, and loved both!

We got a fabulous deal at the Hilton on Priceline, so we cut one day off our stay in San Francisco to head for some warmer weather in Anaheim. We stayed at the Hilton as I couldn't get availability in a suite at the Grand California Villas for Monday night.

The beds at the Hilton were heavenly! They also had a really nice pool area with 4 hot tubs.

The GCV is my favorite out of all of the DVC studios I've stayed in so far (AKL - Jambo House, BCV, OKW, BWV)

There are a number of Hiltons in the area. Just make sure you know yourself, and specify to anyone you may deal with, which Hilton you're at, if and when taking any public transportation. Or if booking outside tours or having anyone visit at your hotel. I had friends meet me at my hotel while I was in town and got quite an ear full about how may Hiltons there are in the area.
