YIPEE!!! I'm finally at the Boardwalk!!!

I very much enjoyed reading your trip report. I did one partial solo trip but felt very self-conscious the whole time. I think it was because I was there on business rather than pleasure so felt guilty whenever I 'escaped' to a park.

I think everyone should try a solo trip just once. I thought I'd be self conscious the first time I did it and let me tell you something, I was so comfortable AND the CM's made sure I was well attended to. Hopefully you'll get a second go at it!

Hope as your trip winds down it is as magical as all the other days

I'm sure it will be & have very much enjoyed your daily reports !

Even though it's sad when a trip to the World is done, it does help to

know that soon it'll be time for the next one !

I did have a "magical" evening!! Ate at Rose and Crown. Wanted my lovely Fish and Chips one more time. Well two of the servers recognized me and greeted me like an old friend. My server this evening Gayle was the sweetest young lady and ready for this; presented me with a "Celebration Card" personalized from her, thanking me for being such a "loyal customer" AND all the other servers signed it!!! She even included her e-mail address because we were having such a good conversation!!! Only in WDW does this happen.

Day 6 - "The End" - I hope you all have a better time with this Internet Service at the Boardwalk than I have. Again, I had this long post done, hit "submit" and I loose the connection. Here we go again...

Went to the MK as I usually do on the last day and had a great time. Today was actually cooler; maybe 80 and that was perfect park weather. Ate an early lunch at the Plaza and casually made my way back to the resort. I had done most of my packing last night so I really didn't have much to do today so I went to the pool. Stayed until maybe 3 pm and left after saying "bye" to Thomas one of the Guards. He made my pool days "fun". Monday he over heard me ask someone where they got their "pool noodle" and they said it was "the pools". Ok I say to myself...the next time I'll go to Community Hall and bring one over. Well next thing I know Thomas hands me one that he found on the other side of the pool!! I thought that was so nice of him and we chatted every day from then on. So I said bye then came upstairs, showered and did my one last load of wash. Went into Epcot later and found myself back at Rose and Crown. I didn't want anything too heavy or saucy tonight since I had to be on a plane tomorrow. Well here comes the "Disney Magic"......two of the hosts recognized me from earlier in the week and greeted me like a long lost friend. My server tonight Gayle, was a honey of a gal and we had the nicest conversation all throughout my stay. Comes time to pay the check and she hands me this card along with the bill; a "Celebration Card" that she personalized with a lovely note thanking me for being a "loyal customer" and then ready for this; had all the servers sign it!!! Only in Disney....

Sampled just some desserts; from Desserts and Champagne I had the Dessert Trio which was one of each of the three offered; something chocolate; something strawberry and then this pear strudel thing which I loved. And from Germany the Apple Strudel with Werther's Original Karameil Sauce; really, really good.

Well everyone, the next stop for me is The Bronx!!! I want to thank you all for sharing with me one of the NICEST solo trips I've had. I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. And for those of you coming to WDW next, I'll be watching for your reports!!!

What a lovely trip report! Thanks so much for taking the time to share with us who are counting down the days to our trips home

My trip is almost over and I already feel that "Disney sadness" coming. You all know that feeling; the feeling you get as soon as you walk out of the resort. The feeling that compels you to begin planning the next trip as soon as you get home. That feeling that keeps you coming here to the DIS Board.

Yes to that feeling! And it's one you can't explain to your non-Disney friends - they just don't get it. I guess they just haven't felt the magic yet
I starting planning my next visit "home" on the bus ride to the airport!

I found the shirt at DTD in the Disney Store. They didn't have many left so I hope you can find one! I don't mind eating alone at all. I love my solo trips. I told DH this was by far the BEST out of them all!!
