I changed our hotel from desert palms inn and suites to the Pardise Pier. I have not told my husband....:scared1: I love the Pardise Pier and it is going to be around the holidays too. :santa: We will see what will happpen when he gets back from work:jumping1: I guess I better have a special dinner waiting for him.

Hey bumbershoot. My husband was surprise that I changed the hotel without talking to him...:goodvibes but he is OK with staying at the PPH. :cool1: My almost 4 yo daughter and 2 year old son love lilo and stich too. We are also celebrating our daughter 4th b-day as well. can I have something arranged for her birthday:confused3

Thanks

When I was planning my husband's birthday (we had to cancel due to the smoke from the fires since we have a 6 month old, a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old),
I found this link at mouseplanet to be very helpful when I was planning...looks like it will not let me post the link so type birthdays at Disneyland into Google and click on the mouseplanet one
Tells of many things, including a birthday sticker (might be a button now) that you get a City Hall or the hotel.

Also, you can arrange other things in your room. For instance, room service has balloons and cake and baskets available. I called Disney Dining
(see link above) and arranged a basket for our room (Pirates) .

Lots to arrange for birthdays. Simplest is the button. If PPH knows ahead of time, or if they think to ask if your'e celebrating anything when you check in, they'll likely have (or get) a button for her... Many people request balloons, and even signed pictures of favorite characters!

There are also baskets and cakes and such that you can order ahead of time. Contact these folks for all of that:

I called them and they emailed me all sorts of info.

PP has a cute little room for Disney cartoons. Old cartoons! They have the cutest little Adirondack style chairs for the kids, they even have a few footrests (so cute to watch my 3 year old pull one up to his chair) for the kids. It's free and seemed to be open every time we went by...it's definitely worth a stop-in if you have nowhere else to be.
