Yikes! No Fantasmic!?

I just checked the Disneyland calendar, the schedule is posted thru April 11th but no Fantasmic!?
I was on another discussion board and saw a thread that it was going down for refurbishment till start of summer? Oh no, I am so sad.
I hope it's not true. I was planning on PS and desert boxes
Does anyone have any info?

Fantasmic is being upgraded and will likely be down sometime from March to May.

Oh, thank you for the info. I looked back a couple pages and googled it, but nothing concrete. Just terrible news. But all is not lost; we will be back a few more times this year for our magic fix!

Im so sorry to hear it wont be up for when you go the first time. Your lucky at least that you can catch it later. I am just hoping it will be back up before the end of May. As far as I know they at least like to try and get most of the major referbs done by the end of May before peak season hits.

Huh. On the calendar it's still scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays (at least for the 13/14th, 20/21st, and 27/28th). Is that just a glitch, or will the still be running it two times a week?

It's not a glitch, I think the OP was talking about April.

Fantasmic is still being shown in March.

According to the official calendar:

F! will be shown on March 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

And then F! will be shown Fri/Sat/Sun (March 13/14/15, 20/21/22, 27/28) until Saturday, March 28.

F! will apparently be down for refurb starting on Sunday, March 29, and the refurb will take approximately 2 months or so.

Well, it was either going to be over President's Day/Valentines Day weekend, over Spring Break, or over Easter.

Just so you know, it's not a dessert bar. It's a dessert box that has sweets, cheese and crackers, and fruit.

It's not really to die for. F! will be back. This is just one sacrifice we have to make a better show.
