Yikes! I've tried Alamo, and Dollar and don't know how to use CODES ?!?!?

Hi everyone! I'm trying to rent either a minivan or midsize SUV for Oct 7 - Oct 14 and I don't know where to put the codes in!

On "Alamo" I can get a 'prepay' rate for a midsize SUV for $229 (taxes included) and then I tried on Dollar and can't figure out on either site where to plug in those codes!

Can anyone help ? We just need either an SUV or Minivan (2 adults, 2 kids + luggage). We'll be driving from Universal to Disney so we definitely need a vehicle!!

On the Alamo site, after you fill out the initial info in the box, do you see underneath where it says "More options" or something of that nature? If you click on that link it will bring you to the page where you can insert the codes..

Hope that helps.. I'm not familiar with the Dollar site..

For Alamo, on the main page, in bottom right of the box in the upper left where you enter your travel info/dates is a link that says "More options click here". Click there & a new ressie page will come up.

Scroll down to "Optional Rate Information". That is where you can enter discount codes or coupons.

Standard MidSize SUV - $205 with taxes! ($158 without) for Oct 7 - 14 - I got there through mousesavers.com and used a 20 coupon + the prepay option. I havent' booked it yet as I want to see if that's a good price! Help !

Thats a good rate. I just got a coupon code for National for $25 off a midsize SUV, and it came to $228.72 incl all fees for 7 nights for 10/28 to 11/4.

On the Dollar websit you have to click the Specials tab at the top of the window. You'll then be sent to a screen where you can enter your rate code.

I have had no problems in the past with Dollar. I would check them out.

Put in your dates on Alamo with WMT discount 430710 BY and $25 coupon from Mousesavers code D24C. got 213.70. hope this helps.

I think Alamo is going to give you the lowest rate for now. When I plug my dates in on Dollar I get the lowest rate without using any coupons or codes. I tried yours and the end was $260-ish/total. Using the codes the pp gave you for Alamo is a much better deal. Keep checking your rates though - they've been on a downward slide so hopefully they will go lower for everyone in the next few weeks before our vacations!
