So we will be arriving for a quick 2 day trip on Friday around 4pm. So what kind of Fast Pass can we get for WoC? Or should I make dinig ressies for it?

If you want to see it on Friday I would either do a dinner or a picnic. If you go in the morning on your next day you can get a FP in the morning.

But I would use the second day's precious morning hours to ride attractions.

lately the line for fastpass in the morning has been very short (like 5 minutes) Unless you really want to spend the extra money on the meals, I don't think it necessary any more, but I don't know what its like at 4 pm.

This Friday is going to be very busy at DCA, as DL closes at 7 PM. I'd suggest you get a picnic if possible (though they may be sold out already). Otherwise, I think you may just need to do it Saturday.

But I know last Friday, they had 3 WoC shows scheduled for Friday night, so you may be able to snag a FP.

Did you have a ticket to get you in starting at 4 PM, or are you buying full-price park hoppers? If the latter, and IF you haven't bought your tickets yet, I'd consider getting a party ticket instead--it should be about the same price to get a 1-day hopper and a party ticket for DL from 4 - midnight, as to get a 2-day hopper. (I found crowds at Disneyland to be fairly high during the party, but they were lower than the following day.)
