Hello fellow Dis'ers,

As I sit here and think, "Gee, I'm no longer in school. This free's up a lot of time restrictions regarding vacations. :teeth: I'm thinking DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!" Because I've never gone outside of summer vacations before, I'm in need of some pointers. I'm looking at going somewhere around April or May. Is this a good time to go? Ok, that was a stupid question....let me rephrase. Is April or May a good time to go in regards to Crowds and weather, ie heat, rain etc.? I'm looking to go for about 7 nights. I've done the whole August thing and I really don't want to do a full blown summer vacation so any tips, or suggestions, would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Anytime is a good time to go!!!!:teeth:

Okay, to really answer your question:

I've been WDW in October, November, May and July, and I'd have to say, October-November and early May are in my opinion the best times to go. April weather is great but I've heard crowds can be big due to spring break. Early May can be humid but the crowds are light. Oct-Nov weather is great, although Nov. can be cool.

No matter when you go, have a great time!

We were just in WDW in April'03. No problems with spring break crowds, weather was wonderful, except for our day at AK, but it always seems to be overly humid there. It was a short stay this time, only 5 days, but we went the 4th - 9th. I think we beat the spring breakers. Good luck with your decision and have a grea trip! :wave2:

ps. We didn't do many adult rides, as our DD is only 3.

just jumping on here cause we may be slipping in a few days in early May also( hopefully since hubby is taking a class in Vero B. either then or what is now the 1st 4 days of our Jan trip and I just finally got all the Ps where I want them for Jan and really do not want to shift everything around & May=chance to stay at Vero Beach resort( looks so great)+ another little WDW "visit" so I am pushing for May!)
