Hi friends, we are going May 4-10, staying offsite. I would love to help make my 3.5 year old's dream of meeting Elsa come true.

1. I don't have much hope of getting a FP+, but believe you me I will be trying desperately to piece something together once we hit 30-day

2. If we go at RD, is there still a"stand by" line? I know a while ago they eliminated it and gave paper return tix....

3. I am worried about RD possibilities since BOG will have some 500 breakfast reservations before park opening. Anyone have a strategy on how to get to the A and E line at RD? I've been reading previous posts but BOG breakfast may be a game changer.

Wish it weren't so hard....

Thanks for any advice and pixie dust you have to help make this happen!!

The FP only version of this M/G was only a test at WDW. It is FP only at DLR but WDW still has standby.

At least you are going during a slower time. Maybe you could try during the afternoon parade?

I agree it will be interesting to see what BOG does to rope drop at this M/G.

We were just there on a crowd level 8 day and waits really dropped off, often around 40 minutes. The days of multi hour waits are over IME. I hope you have a great trip!

Thanks for your responses! I will keep my fingers crossed that it will happen. Afternoon parade is a good idea if first thing in the morning won't work.

Unfortunately, very long waits are still the norm for A&E.We were there for the first two weeks of March, and saw wait times over 100 minutes multiple times. Hopefully, you'll be able to get there early enough that you won't have a long wait, or crowd levels might be a little lower for you, resulting in lower wait times.

Once the BOG breakfast starts, you'll have a better idea if the breakfast-goers there will have an advantage.

Although long waits are the norm...getting a FP with persistence may pay off. I have gotten FPs for the attraction three different times for different reasons (people coming to town etc) and I have never done it more than a week to two in advance. Once I know when I want it/need it I start trying. If you don't get the FP in your first try of MK FPs keep trying! Twice the FPs I got were within two days so it's certainly worth the effort.

Liz
