Yet another Ebay question (programming)

ON the Large Ebay thread there was a mention of a script or program which would tell you who or how many people are "watching" the items you are selling.


Could someone direct me to that? I can't get on the large Ebay thread, I get timed out.. and the pages don't load correctly.

You're right - doesn't show up.. There's this "button" there instead.. But when I clicked on it I had to go to the original site and request a password before it will work.. Does that sound right?

We should probably move these q&a's over to the big thread so those folks don't miss out.. Or maybe the mods have a way of "combining" threads? Just a thought..

I too would like to know how once added to the end of your description, and you get the icon added to the listing, do you actually check to see how many have added your item to a watch list or whatever.

You're right - doesn't show up.. There's this "button" there instead..

I had just posted I didn't have a button..but I see I do now. I guess she changed the script. That button is just to give her credit..people can click on that to get the script for themsleves.

You don't have to copy the "button" in your script.

I just bookmarked the page for the watchlist login. At the bottom of the page there is a place to enter your item no. It will bring up the no. of people watching. You don't have to register or login to use it.

Threads can be combined but since this subject has already come up on the big thread no sense in combining. If you want it done click on "Report This Thread to a Moderator" and make your suggestion.

It looks like Bacon Buttie makes updates regularly, the first one I used was updated last week and now it's different again! I also see that he gives you the option to add the button, I guess that's the least we could do for using his free service. Let's hope it stays FREE!
