Yet another Developers Points question.

Sorry folks, but I have another Developer's Points question:

How is the expiration date of the points calculated? Is it from when you started the process or from your closing date?

Ok, now a second question just in case the answer above is closing date: Has anyone combined at developer's point reservation with a normal points reservation?

Expiration date is from the date of purchase...e.g., I did our 100 - point add-on at SSR on 7/19 (and the points were available to me about 2 hours after I gave our guide my credit card number)...I have til 2/19 to use the points (seven months from date of purchase...now I understand it's been extended to 12 months, but w/a seven-month booking window)...I didn't combine points...used the 200 developer points for our Jan trip and banked the 100 07 UY points I purchased...

Thanks, it does help. I did book a trip with my developer's points but I still have some left. So I was trying to figure out if I could use them for my sister's trip in Feb (assuming that she ever makes up her mind ). But since it is based upon date of purchase, they will have expired. (I am assuming that those of us that purchased our points prior to the change still only have 7 months to use them.)

I hope this helps, I made a ressie today with developer pts. and "regular" uy points. Had no probs. using a combo to make the ressie!
