OK..I am sure that everyone but me knows the answer to this but I will advertise my ignorance to the masses and ask anyway...

Delswife..... who is Del? Why not Steves wife?? Does Steve have yet another name we know nothing about... ?? Is it part of a last name.. Please help so that I do not stay ignorant for too long...

I've wondered that myself. Before I knew he was Scuba Steve, I would've thought he would be Del (Delbert??) The Farmer in the Dell? Dude, I'm gettin' a Dell...................Delaware

I don't think his actual name is Steve. He just became "Scuba Steve" because he looked so hot in a wet suit at Discovery Cove I believe. Perhaps his name really is Del.

I got confused too, but...if you look back at Part 18, when her husband comes out in his wet suit she giggles like a school girl and tells her daughters "Del's a hottie!" It wasnt until a few paragraphs later that brother, I believe, nicknamed him Scuba Steve.

I believe that Delswife and famiglia gave Del the name "Scuba Steve" in reference to the critically acclaimed Adam Sandler movie "Big Daddy". In the movie Mr. Sandler dresses up as his foster son's favorite toy "Scuba Steve". I have way too much useless knowledge.

Sorry burnsoc but I have to correct you on part of your reference to the critically acclaimed movie "Big Daddy". Adam Sandler dressed up and played Scuba Steve's dad in the movie but that is certainly where the reference came from. Why I am harboring this knowledge is beyond me and apparently I am in need of some therapy for saving the space in my brain waves to remember this one minuscule item.

Yes, I have yet another question into the private life of delswife. I realize it's none of my business but I need all the details.

Here's the question:

Who is the parent of whom? What I mean is, I have gathered that Chris, Nikki, and Brandy belong to Delswife biologically but I wondered who parented Em? The reason I ask is because Em said that "Wobin" was gonna bring her back to Disney, not "Mommy" and I got confused. So, who does Em belong to biologically? Thanks ever so much and if it's none of my business, please say so....but seeing as you've shared so much, I'm thinking you won't mind me asking.

Next question.....where are you having Thanksgiving Dinner? Who will be coming? Will there be a trip report?(PLEASE!!)

No problem.

Em is Del's daughter. Em has a mommy so she calls me Wobin. (little trouble with the 'R' but that could be a Maine thing) Her mommy is very sweet and we get along very well. I treat Em just like my own kid, I love her just as much and I'm glad you were confused about that.

My kids and I have been in Em's life since she was in diapers, so she really doesn't know my kids as anything else but her brother & sisters.

Thanksgiving dinner? Hummm... Now I gotta cook?

I'm thinking that maybe an invite to your brother and sister in law and family for Thanksgiving may hold us over until your next Disney Vacation. They could stretch it out until New Years.
