Okay I already own one pair (I know, ONLY one?!) of crocs, dont remember if they are beach of Cayman style but I want to purchase another pair but of either the athens or the Niles.

If you have either one of those (athens or niles) and have used them @ WDW....preferably in the summer but if @ any other time thats helpful too, do they make your feet hot & yucky? :confused3

I love my Niles. They are so comfortable and not as eye catching as Caymans. It's narrow (well, narrower than Cayman..) and runs smaller than Cayman.

I have athens and I love them, but I have never wore them for a long period such as Disney. I am going to try them next month at Disney.

I just ordered my first pair of Crocs last night--I got the Nile ones. I can't believe how hard it was to find a pair of size 7 in black. I ended up having to order them from the Crocs website and pay almost $10 in shipping. All the discount places on-line had only really bizarre colors in size 7. I'm hoping these aren't too much narrower than the Beach ones--those were the ones I tried on in a store to figure out sizes.

I love my Athens,,,however I did wear them in April to WDW..only one day. By days end I had a blister (First ever at WDW and first ever in many many years). Normally I can wear them all day shopping, driving whatever. I think theres a bit to much walking at WDW. In Oct. It will be my old reliable sneakers! Just my story.

That's what I was afraid of, did you get the blister where the thong part of the sandal was? Cause some material does that and other materials it doesnt

I got my blister on the left foot upper part..opposite the toe-thing...Very strange never had one before......BUT I still love my athens for home and I will probably take them for DTD days and quick jonts to the food court..LOL

They make my feet sweat. I have to wear socks with them. I prefer Tevas.

I have the Crocs sandals that don't have the toe thing...they have sort of 2 connected straps. I think they are Niles, but I am not positive.

Anyhow, they are quite comfortable and I don't find them sweaty at all.

I own both. While I haven't worn either into the parks (Beach and Cayman there), there is a difference in the support.

The Niles don't seem to have much if any arch and tarsal support, whereas the Athens do.

YMMV

bump.......i am wondering the smae thing. I want to buy the athens but i dont know how they will be in the parks.......anyone know ???
