Hi,

We're celebrating our son's 5th birthday at Liberty Tree Tavern-and of course need a birthday cake.I'm just looking for some advice from those who have done this before. . .

I know about the 6' cake that has MIckey on it for $12.50-we can't have that one becuae they're not created invidually and DS has a peanut/nut allergy so cross contamination is an issue. So my question is what is the next step as far as cakes go? we don't need a big one- only 5 of us. What are the options-can you get them with any character? Will they personalize them? Will they deliver it to LTT? and how much?

Thanks- only 19 more days til we go :cheer2:

I would call the restaurant and explain your situation. They have order forms for custom created cakes. We had to do that on our last trip because we need a totally no-chocolate cake for SO's mom. We actually ordered ours from the Boardwalk Bakery and walked it over to Yatchsman, but I know you can do the same just by calling the restaurant and speaking to them about a custom cake.

We had a 9" round cake with Mickey on it and it cost about $32. In hindsight, the cake size was way too huge for four people, and we should've went smaller! Sandy (I believe her name was) told us we couldn't have the Pooh characters because Disney doesn't own all the rights to them, so she hesitates in making them, but that was the only flaw we ran into regarding a character on a cake.
