I KNOW! :rolleyes1 Another AAA question. When we come to Disney for our next trip, I will need to reserve 3 rooms. The grandparents are coming with us, and both grandfathers SNORE. Thus the need for 3 seperate, quiet, rooms. I plan on using our AAA membership to make the room ressies, and to get the room only discounts applicable to the time of year we are coming. My question is: Although I am making the ressies, I am paying only for our room. Will this effect the rates for the grandparents when they pay for the room. And as a side question, I understand that room only ressies aren't payed in advance, but at the resort. But when, Upon check in, or check out???:confused3

I'm pretty sure that the balance is due at check-in. I have always used my AAA discount for "room only rate" when we stay on property. If you reserve all 3 rooms under your name, they should let you use your AAA discount, but I think you'll be responsible for paying for all 3 rooms. Maybe the grandparents could pay you their room balances in cash before arrival and then you could "pay" for all the rooms? Not sure if it would work, but it sounded like a good idea to me! Also, make sure that you check to see if Disney is running any other room-only discounts when you go. Sometimes it will be the same as AAA or even lower. (My AAA rate room in 2 weeks is only a total of $5 less for the entire stay than the current promo rate.) Good luck and have a great, snore-free vacation!

Just got back using an AAA discount (booked through Disney, not through AAA). For each room, you will need to make a one night deposit. It doesn't matter how you make that deposit. Since you are only paying for your room, use your credit card for just that room. Have the grandparents use their credit card for their rooms. Or, if it's easier, put all three deposits on one card and then settle up at home before you leave.

The rate doesn't matter with AAA. It'll be the same for all three rooms.

Once you get to the hotel, the remaining nights will not be charged until the last day. So, you can put your credit card down for your room and each of your grandparents can do the same for their rooms.

I've made reservations under my name, paid for the deposit with my in-laws credit card, checked in, had my credit card on my room for charges, and then my father-in-law paid for only the rooms on his credit card. We paid the remaining balance.

Disney wants money. They don't care who it comes from.

Thank you all for your quick responses! This is certainly helping me plan my trip!!!!!:worship:
