I know there seems to be a new thread about this every week but still, here goes. How many times do you call the non-responders? Yesterday I had to call 7 people who didn't respond to my son's party invitation. Of those 7, 2 two have yet to call me back. Yes, I left messages with them. One is even a good aquaintance. If I don't hear from them, do I call back again or just assume they're not coming? I do have good reasons for assumming neither would be going, but still you never know.

As far as numbers for the party, I don't really need to know. But I'm planning on shopping for gift bags today.

I have heard people say they think RSVP means "regrets only" and other people have said they only call if they are attending!
It's really wrong that these parents did not return your call!
In the past, I have always prepared extra goody bags for those who haven't responded; I would just feel badly if a child did show up and I didn't have a goody bag for them because their parents didn't RSVP (Sometimes they showed, sometimes they didn't).
