I couldn't find the thread that was written by the lady whose son needs to have Uncrustables. We were at the Poly concierge in Hawaii last weekend and there were Uncrustables out every day. Hope this helps.
I have never eaten one. My son LOVES them. He has to have them. (Just for the benefit of anyone else reading, my son has autism and is very dependent on routines. Uncrustable at 10:30 a.m. is one of them.) The package says the bread is soft.
I don't really know how he started liking these so much. I, personally, would prefer to not pay $2.50 for 4 PB&J sandwiches. I thought the idea was insane when they came out --who would pay for PB&J, about the easiest thing to make
Maybe because they are cute circle shape and obviously no crust (I have to cut the crust off of all his bread.) Those clever marketers sure know how to get to kids somehow
They also have Uncrustables at 1900 Park Faire dinner buffet at the GF. We were there in June and the kids and TEENS in our party commented on how good the sandwiches were (they tried a little of everything) and the CM overheard and said "Shh. But you can get them at home. They're Uncrustables just like in the grocery store." They were embarrassed. My friend says to her dd "I bought a box of those once and you wouldn't touch them!" See how Disney magic can work even on Uncrustables?
