We have been checking several times a day for the past few weeks and the registration for Home School Days finally opened some time this evening.

We got into the Healthy Living: Nutrition class with our two girls. Four 8 day hoppers for 185 each!!! Woot! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Get your classes now because I'm sure they will fill up soon.

WE SAVED $627 ON TICKETS!!!!!

Thanks for posting the update...I haven't checked in a few days. I just went to register and it won't let me...maybe the system is busy? :confused3 I'm worried we will miss out...does this fill up super fast? It will be our first Homeschool Days event and I don't want us to miss it. :)

Congrats to homeschoolers!!! I know how exciting this is for you and how anxiously you've been waiting. I was able to get in to an Individual Open Enrollment class and we are really excited. Now go get your tickets homeschoolers and enjoy your savings:goodvibes

When are the homeschool days? Also - does anyone know if they are doing individual enrollment for 2012?

Homeschool days are for homeschooling families. YOu call the YES program directly to order.

We have done this once or twice before.

We can't go in Oct but we are going with a local group in November as those are the dates we can go. They are a little higher than direct buy, but still a good deal.

I think you will be fine. It doesn't fill up for quite a while.

Home School Days are in early October.

Some have been told that there will be Individual Enrollment classes in 2012 but the classes have not yet been announced.

The website is not very user friendly, it took me a couple tries to get it to work. Start out at this link - http://www.disneyyouth.com/home-school-days/pricing/

At one point I got a message that said my group had to register in order to buy tickets, but if you click on the line to register it just takes you back to the beginning of the process. The second time through I just ignored the message and it let me register for the class. Keep trying, it's worth it!

Hi Dawn.....from the other Dawn, lol. :goodvibes Thanks so much, I am sitting in here in near panic because I can't register. I keep refreshing the page over and over and nothing. I had emailed about it last week and got a nice email back from a CM who gave me her number if I needed any help that I can call tomorrow, I was just kinda nervous that it would fill up (okay...more than a little nervous, :scared1: lol). Now I don't feel so pressured.

Thanks again. I am not going to worry about it tonight, try again in the morning and if still can't, then contact the CM.

Thank you, thank you...that URL is letting me register! In a few minutes, we will be all set! YAY!!!!!:banana::banana:

Found the days for our trip, but although there are openings it says that your arrival date can be no sooner then April 2012 ,????

It looked like all there is available are tickets for 3-18 year-olds, is this correct? Is it for groups or individuals? This is our first year homeschooling and would love to have the info for the future!

I have a YES question. I'm new to the YES program, we're not going till Fall 2012, I got on through the link on here and it says tickets not available yet, which is fine. I have friends going this Oct and I told them about this and they were thrilled, but they said something about having to wait, not knowing if they'd be able to get in, if there would be room or something. I didn't really understand and I'm not sure she did either :goodvibes

SO my question is this, would this be what she meant, the classes weren't scheduled yet or the tickets for everyone weren't available yet and what you are saying here is that now they are? So maybe she was not sure she'd get tickets because she only has one date she can go and if that class (or those classes) fill up she'll be unable to get YES tickets? It kinda seemed to me she was saying they sell tickets to actual groups first and then if there is room left she'd be able to get tickets but again I really didn't understand. I'm wanting to be prepared for when we need to buy ours!

TIA

We are actually checking out on October 2nd, but I see they have a couple of classes on September 30th....which we could do. If we don't make the October 2nd class, does it somehow resort back to you paying full price for the tickets? We have already paid off our package, not sure that YES tickets are that much cheaper than package tickets since we'd have to add on another 28.00 for the additional class on the 30th to take part in Homeschool days.

I just ran some quick numbers and it looks like the tickets on the package are costing me around 975.00 for 1 adult and 3 children/juniors. It would be 513.00 to add 3 day tickets using the yes program, plus an additional 112.00 since the adult would have to attend with the younger ones and we'd have to add that extra class to take part. We still have to keep a day or two of tickets on our package since we have free dining....so I think it's best to just leave it the way we have it. Really good deal for those not already on a package that requires ticket days though!

Nope. We missed our class the year we did it and nothing happened, no lightning strikes, no charges to our CC, nothing! :rotfl:

Nope, no panic. I think it has gotten more popular and I fear some people go that don't homeschool just for the deal (kind of wish they needed proof of some kind, but I know some states don't give proof.)

Okay, another question.. I'm confused. I checked the price for YES for an Oct trip this year, (just to check difference, we're planning next year) price was $682 but the same price through Disney ressies is $668 ... when I checked this earlier this year the difference was $50 cheaper for park hoppers, Disney Quest, etc than just the basic 1 park per day tickets. I gotta be missing something :confused3
