Yes, more POTC2 spoilers

In the beginning of the first POTC, we see Will floating on a piece of board from a ship. In POTC2, we see him again on a board that looks almost identical to the first movie. Could the *SPOILER* krakken have attacked the ship that he was on when he was younger? The two scence seem strangly connected somehow.

In the first movie, teh ship was set on fire. It was a merchant ship sailing to england. The Kraken had no need to attack that ship. I think the answer gave in the original movie serves well enough. Pirates. Because merchant ships carry a lot of gold, and powder. =fire.

I also thought this while watching the m ovie, then formed my opinion.
