We are we are what time did you want to head out Julie? We can meet you at the Esso station in woodstock on the 401 let me know and if you like we will have the van so you can tag along with us rather than drive alone.

That would be great Lisa! I don't think I can interest any of my crew in the zoo.

However, I will probably have to drive myself to the pick up point and that will make it difficult on the way home at the Esso Service Center, as there are no convenient exits, as I remember, to get back over to that side of the 401, to get my car.

I think what would be more convenient is the big 230 Travel Center located at exit 230 (the Sweaburg Rd. exit). At least here, there is an easy exit on and off the 401 in either direction. Zoom in and re-centre the map for a better view, it is the first exit into Woodstock. You may already know the Travel Center, it's on the north side of the 401, has a large restaurant/truck stop and carries UltraMar Gas. 230 Exit

I could meet you there at what ever time is best for you.

Thanks Lisa! It will be much nicer to travel with someone, especially across the busy 401 in Toronto.

I checked my Rand McNally Tripmaker and it says it takes one hour and 46 minutes from Woodstock to the Zoo. Do you think if you meet me at the 230 Travel Center at 11:30 we should be okay to arrive at 1:30? If you want to go earlier, that is okay with me, too.

Hi! I know I'm not a regular on the Canadian page, but I hope its okay if me and my husband come too! We might be able to make it. We are zoo members and havent been in quite some time, so it would be a great excuse to get ourselves out of our downtown Toronto bubble and get some fresh air (not counting the stinky pavillions!).

Is anyone into pin trading? We got married in WDW in April and got hooked when we were there. Everytime we see someone with a lanyard on we stare at their chests to see it there are any pins, but alas, its always only a key card. Hahaha

Depending on when we leave the zoo do you mind if we stop at a Dsieny store we will look to see what one is the closest we want to check out the snow globes that are on sale sorry about that but we just have to.

Coming across the 401 you can stop at Scarborough Town Centre which is just off the 401 at McCowan for a Disney Store or go to Fairview which is just off the 401 at the 404 for a Disney Store (or you can stop at both!!).

I heard about this meet from Scratch42 on our repo cruise boards but had a conflict come up that would prevent us from attending.

However, the conflict cleared this morning and we're totally psyched to come! My DD8, Lara, my DH Martin and myself have zoo memberships so we know exactly where the meeting place is.

DD and I will be in Disney's finest. DH is more of an "enabler" - happy to indulge us but doesn't actually own any Disney wear.

Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.
