Yes! DVC loan paid off entirely!!

Woot!

MB bank just called and confirmed final payment for our DVC loan has cleared. We are now the only owners of our timeshare


Started payments in Aug 2007, paid off July 2011 - not too bad considering I was laid off most of 2009~

Just had to share! I'm so excited... and restructuring our monthly budget immediately

We were middle of the roaders ourselves on the finance vs outright purchase debate. We financed for 7 and paid it off in 4.

It was nice to get it done early and I still remember when the last payment was made and how nice it felt to own it free and clear.

Regretfully - no plans for more points. We have 145 and that meets our need.

As to where to put the money: 1) increase 401K contribution and 2) beef up that vacation fund lol!
