Yellow ME tags

Didn't recieve them yet....first time staying on disney and using ME.

Who can I call ? we leave next week!

i forgot to call about ME until today and we are 10 days out so may not receive them. I was told to take my airline baggage claim ticket to the Welcome Center and give it to them and they will handle getting our bags.

We never got ours either so I called yesterday. They said they would send them today and we should have them in 5 days. I knew I could still use DME without them but I have heard reports that you can skip the counter line and go straight to the bus line if you have the vouchers. There seems to be conflicting reports on this, but if it is true, I wanted to be ready!

We skipped the counter last month and walked to a podium before the lines split up. The CM scanned our vouchers and directed us to the bus line.

if you booked through a TA, check with your TA first. it would have gone to them.

you don't technically need them as you can provide the claim tag numbers to the DME desk and they will get and deliver the bags for you, but it is also true that if you have used the yellow tags (or have all your luggage with you) and have the booklet in hand, you do NOT need to go to the check-in desk, but go directly to the bus lines.

I wouldn't just automatically head to the bus lines unless a CM directs you to do so. Stop and check with the CM who is standing at the entrance to the DME checkin area first. I don't believe that you can just decide for yourself to head to the buses without stopping at checkin first. In all likelihood, you will be told to go to the buses directly, but do you want to take the chance of being sent back to the checkin line?? Just a thought.

You can't just get there (unless you go under ropes). You walk toward the DME area and at the end where they have always (typically) had a CM to answer questions there will be another one with another queue line that goes directly to the buses. It's one of those deals where Disney has it organized in such a way that you are splitting one way or the other and no one decides which way they go until a CM tells them.
