Yee Ha Bob.....worth it?

I was starting to think I was the only one who felt this way.
Never. He's popular but there is always some who aren't going to enjoy the show.
I don't think there is a single thing at WDW that you will find 100% of the visitors love.
Heck, I bet if you look hard enough you'd even find one who enjoys Stitch ride so probably not possible to find something that 100% hate.

We saw him last Wednesday. I have seen him twice before. I would definitely see him. He had everyone involved and he was just amazing! there were a lot of people including kids. All the children had a blast and the parents even more fun watching them. He is truly a hidden treasure at WDW! Love Bob...and yes Bob your hair looks fine!

We do not consider it a vacation until we see Bob. We almost always stay at the PO complex and he is a must see on one night of our vacation. True motivation lies in the fact that we will be at PO-Riverside in 10 days and will be at River Roost around 7:45 to get something to eat, order a beer, and see Bob. We have to get up early to do a MK pre park opening Crystal Palace breakfast, but I will be up (and having a few beers) until Bob plays "Sara". I'll deal with all the silly noise and will have a blast, then deal with the bleary-eyed hangover in the morning. The theme parks are awesome, but Bob is vacation.

You may have just gotten lucky. Or you weren't catching the first show of the night.
One night we couldn't even get a standing room only spot for the early show during our trip in July. We ended up going to get a bite to eat and coming back for the later show. He actually did 3 shows that night. Can't remember now what day of the week it was, since we saw him on several nights of our 10 night trip. We saw several nights where the house was full during that trip, as we came and went through the lobby. If it's important to see him I would not risk getting there at the last minute if you want to catch the first show.
Bob's listed from 8:30-11:45....I'm assuming 2 shows....8:30-9:30ish and 10ish-11:45??? Is that right? Trying to figure if I catch Fantasmic on Wednesday and get back to POR, if I have enough time to catch the beginning of the show...good seat or no seat!!!LOL

That seems about right. On our trip in July he actually did a 3rd, shorter set to close down the bar.
We did not find it hard at all to get a table for the 2nd show. It never did fill up. 1st show was so full there wasn't even standing room. Maybe that's why he did the 3rd show? No idea. We didn't stick around late enough on the other nights to know if they did a 3rd set then or not

for anyone following along ... I'd also recommend walking over to French Quarter, grabbing a drink or a snack, and catch Jason & Billy's show. It's absolutely NOTHING like Yee Ha Bob, but it's a nice way to spend an hour or two if you've got the time.

Duelling Pianos on the Boardwalk way better, although there is a cover charge. Could see Fantasmic and boat over from HS to Boardwalk, take cab back to POR (short distance, cheap)

My family does not like his show. It is very loud and fast paced. After being at the parks all day, the last thing we need to hear is someone banging on a piano and lots of people loudly singing. I think for us if the show occurred earlier we would probably think it was cute, but since we exhaust ourselves at the parks all day we really just find it annoying...

I will be doing both. We are doing Bob on a Saturday night and seeing Jason and Billy on Monday evening. We used to see Eliot Dyson and then Tom Casey at PO-FQ. I've always liked their shows and can't wait to see Billy and Jason for the first time. I have a lot of good memories at Scat Cat's Club. 9 days to go (not that I'm anticipating anything, though)

How sad.

What night are you going? I've always found that the crowd is largest between 9 and 10 and then eases off a bit after 10. Patience can be rewarded.

I did not know about this, and would love to give it a go.

However, I have a son with ASD who CAN be noise sensitive. is it say to leave without disturbing others if he can't handle it?

Angi....is there someone at the Roost when Bob is off?

Absolutely. The way it is set up it will in no way be disruptive for people to come and go throughout the show. It's literally happening in the bar attached to the lobby. People are constantly coming and going. Enjoy!

Fab! thanks! We are planning to have dinner at Boatwrights one evening I hope we can add this on to the experience!

do you love silly sing along type shows? Then go. It's not for everybody but if you enjoy the type of show he does, then it is worth going out of your way to get there.

Won't work if you have kids though...Jellyrolls is for age 21 and up only.
