Day 7 (Part 1) - Thursday, November 20th, 2003
CAST OF CHARACTERS:
Yecats - Me, myself and I.
Me is Single, 33 (however, other two personalities - myself is about 10 years old and an advid SM freak and the I personality may be about 60 years especially after getting off of the ToT).
Also on board is my new Canon ZR65 Digital Videocamera nicknamed: Handycam, as it was always in my hand.
PLAN FOR THE DAY:
1. Epcot (for the last time) (Part 1)
2. Magic Kingdom
It was around 3:30 when I entered the Kingdom. I caught the middle of the Share a Dream parade while I was waiting for the train to come. I immediately took the train around to Splash Mtn and got a FP for about 2 hours later (there was a good 45 minute wait). However, I thought the crowds in the MK were manageable at this time. I then hopped on the train and went over Toontown and walked the back path over to Space Mtn. As a good part of the crowd had left after the parade (or at least were all waiting for Splash Mtn.), Space had a 25 minute wait posted but it only took about 15-18 standing in line the first time and about 25 minutes the second time. Then onto the TTA for a brief and enjoyable trip around Tomorrowland.
Decided to walk on over to Toontown. I decided this trip to ride some of the rides that I never have in the past. So I walked onto Goofy's Barnstormer (not even a 10 minute wait). Well that was a cute little roller coaster ride and then walked on out into Fantasyland. There wasn't any line for Mickey's Philharmagic so waited in the blue room for the doors to open and in I went. I really do love this movie (I know I mentioned that before) but I do. Decided to walk on over to the Haunted Mansion and that was a walkon as well. After waving at my friendly little ghostrider, time to ride splash so headed on over to my laughing place. Got off and walked over to PoC for my humpteenth time. Well time to leave as Wishes was set to begin shortly in a few minutes. I continued to Main Street and briefly broused in and out of the various shops on my way out. As I was walking back to the bus, Wishes began and I got my second viewing without having to stand in the crowd. We had boarded the bus right as it was ending. Great timing.
Got back to PORS and stopped in the General Store to pickup some of my various packages which had been piling up over the past several days. I had messages left on my voice mail each day from the store manager and finally decided tonight to retrieve them. I also had the voucher for the FTP (Philharmagic Donald and pin in picture frame) which I presented . Well I didn't realize how much small junk I had managed to collect. Anyway, I enjoyed looking over everything I bought and then of course decided it was time to get something to eat so back to the food court for pizza and soft drinks. Back to room to change and go swimming for a bit. After about 45 minutes in the pool and hot tub came back to the room for my bath.
After bathing decided to head up to the River Roost for a pina colada. Well, and please forgive me for forgetting his name, I believe it was Bob had started his semi-nightly entertainment show playing the piano and getting everyone to sing-a-long. Now I saw him playing a few of nights ago (last Saturday night) when I had just returned that night after hitting the parks all day. He was playing to a completely packed house then and I didn't feel like standing up to watch him. Well when I joined in this time, the Roost was about three-fifths full. So sat there and watched his entire show up until the point when he took a break. He is so funny and gets the crowd going. By the time I left, the bar was completly full.
Anyway, had to prepare for tomorrow and my last visit to Animal Kingdom and Typhoon Lagoon.
RECAP:
