Yearly review

I work Per Diem, weekends and holidays. I have never met my boss, she has no idea what I look like. She works weekdays and never does nights or weekends. She has a reputation for being really mean and giving poor reviews. Because I am PD I float all over the facility and never really work with the same staff, so I do not have any clue on how she canr form any opinion on me or get any feedback. I got a voicemail that my yearly review is in her mailbox and that tonight I need to sign it & stick it back in the box. I do my best, I have never been late, and I have never called in sick. SO how do you think my review will be? I am nervous! Poll to follow..

Well I did not poll, as where I use to work they made managers fill out there own reviews. And to boot I was ranked against other managers I did not know.It would be like well my manager did this and my manager did this. It was never based on how well I did my job. I found that very unfair. There were times I would get 1 percent raise. I could never understand why I needed to fill out my own review. I hope all goes well with you. I understand how nerve racking it is when you have not even met them and they personally dont even know you. Just be yourself. Jo

I'm part of the float pool so my supervisor very rarely sees me. When it comes to my reviews she usually gets in touch with the floors I have been working on the most and talks to nurses and aides that do interact with me. She then bases my final score on their reports.

It was really good! I don't know who actually filled it out because it had a note for me & my boss to both review it & sign it. It appears as though my boss hasnt seen it. I am happy Mostly "exceeds expectations" !
