1975 - Grad Night w/ my boyfriend, who I ended up marrying, and I am STILL married to him!

It was my first year of teaching. I was amazed, and I really wished that I had my third grade class with me. That would have been some field trip. I had a class of 34 students that year.

Memorial Day weekend 1978.
5 days/4 nites at the Golf Resort Hotel, later renamed Disney Inn and then sold to military and renamed Shades of Green.

Spent 2 days in MK (only park there was) and 1 day at Sea World. Wasn't much else to do back then. Also visited the other 2 Disney hotels and the Lake Buena Vista village (now Downtown Disney Marketplace).

Lots has changed since then, some for the better, some not.

Second week in May 1999 staying at Shades of Green, but I had wanted to go since I read about Epcot opening in my 5th grade class in 1981

1979...christmas time. I had just turned 7 and went with my grandparents.

I was 9 and had been waiting to go since I first saw an article about its opening in National Geographic magazine at my grandparents' house!!! Not sure when that article came out, but it felt like I'd waited FOREVER to get there!!!! I went with my mom and brother and it was even more magical than I'd imagined! We stayed at the Poly and adored it -- I couldn't believe it was right on the monorail and so exotic and lush!

Can't believe that was almost 30 years ago... OMG, I AM OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told DH that we had to go to WDW in 2004 so I could celebrate the 30th anniversary of my first visit!

I went for 4 days and stayed outside of the park. But I am going again in a few days and staying at CBR, so I'm super excited.

I was there on a day trip in '81 as a sr. in high school (we were staying in Cape Canaveral)...
1st stay was 10 yrs later for our honeymoon!

Hi everyone
My first visit to WDW was in 1977 with my older sister. It was my high school graduation present from her, we stayed off site, saw WDW, Busch Gardens, Sea World and Universal Studios.
I've been back three times since, 1985,1988 and 2003. What great memories. And as you can see from my countdown timer I will be returning again in August. It's as much fun for me now as it was when I saw it for the first time at 17.I can hardly wait to go again.
