Year Of A Million Dreams Ends 10/1/07?

Am I correct in understanding that the year of a million dreams began on 10/1/06 and runs one year till 10/1/07?

What happens then?

Do the Magical Moments stop?

Does a new promotion start?

Every year Disney comes up with a new theme. This year was more of a promotion. This is the way I have always understood it. Free stuff is always good.

when it began it was announced as a 15 month long promotion which will make it go until 12/31/07

The Disney promotions are always 15 months going from:

Oct-Dec then Jan-Oct then Oct-Dec then Jan-Oct, and so on. There's always a rotation going on.

I have checked a few sites and find 10/1/6-12/31/7 as the dates of the year of a million dreams. I believe the last promotional year actually lasted about 17months (may 5th 2005-sept 30 2006) and was billed as 18 months. So Disney years aren't like calendar years or fiscal years.

Yes, I read the 31st of Dec too. I still think it is funny how many people refuse the prizes.

The Disney Dreams Giveaway (the "Giveaway") provides participants with the chance to win prizes starting on October 1, 2006 and ending on December 31, 2007 (the "Giveaway Period").
