Yesterday, while waiting for the parade we saw Gwen Stefani pushing little baby Kingston in his stroller! Both mom & baby looked super cute and were accompanied by a male friend (not Gavin), and 2 CM's. I am a HUGE fan of hers and have been for many years, so needless to say, I was starstruck for the rest of the night! :cutie:

I was able to snap a picture, but it's a little fuzzy because I was rushing to take it before she was whisked away (I think they were taking her to a special viewing spot for the parade) and I didn't want to be super obvious (it seemed like I was the only one that noticed her). Thankfully, she looked over in my direction right as I took the picture:

What's funny is I've been going to DL all of my life and have never really spotted anyone famous while there. Since May of this year, I've seen:
Snoop Dogg
Nestor Carbonell
Will Ferrell
Ellen Barkin (DH2B and I are still debating over this one - I KNOW it was her, while he still isn't 100% convinced)
Gwen Stefani
Ryan Seacrest
Miley Cyrus
Cast of HSM2
Granted, the last 3 were performing and I knew ahead of time that they'd be there, but I'll still count them in my celebrity sightings...:rolleyes1
John Stamos (See note from 12/9 below)
Diane Keaton (See note from 12/16 below)

Who have you seen this year??

12/9 ETA: We saw another one! Add John Stamos to our list! We saw him getting off of California Screamin' last night (12/9) while we were in line to get on. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera out but it was still so cool! From what I've heard, he frequents the parks quite a bit(probably more so now with the WGA strike), so maybe I'll be able to catch a pic next time! ;)

You know, being that he's such a big Disney fan, I wonder if he's a DIS'er :magnify: LOL

12/17 ETA: 3 sightings in 3 weeks!!! We were walking in to DCA on 12/16 and saw a male plaid escorting a woman with some kids. We weren't able to get a good luck at the woman and just figured one of the kids must have been a somebody, but we didn't recognize any of them. Thanks to GoofyontheHiSeas who was also there on 12/16 (and who actually got a pic) - we now know it was Diane Keaton that we saw! :3dglasses

This year alone we've seen:

Carrie Underwood
Travis Barker & Shanna Moakler
Paul Bettany & Jennifer Connely
Pamela Anderson and her ridiculous entourage of about 20

Now my family makes a challenge out of it each trip to see if we can spot a plaid and then the famous person with them. popcorn::

When we were there in February my DD and her friend saw Ice Cube.

Oh, and I think I need glasses. :sad2: It took me forever to make out your picture. I felt like I was looking at one of those two in one type pictures and I couldn't get it to flip. Now that I see it, I feel so silly. I was looking at it as a profile shot and she was heading to the left. Now I see her face. Am I crazy? Did anyone else see the scary profile first, skinny nose? Forget it. I'm just making myself sound more crazy.:rotfl:

We saw John Stamos last week.

In the past I've seen....
Teri Hatcher
Geoffrey Rush (from all of the Pirates movies)
Patrice O'Neil (I think that's his name. He's a comedien/actor)
George Lopez
the band Phantom Planet

There might be another one...but I can't remember.

Over Veteran's Day weekend we saw Steve Irwin's family. (The former crocadile hunter)

Terri, Bindi and I do not know the son's name were in line at the Jumpin Jellyfish and they did not have an escort.

The son looks just like his Dad.

Thats awesome!

But sorry people, I got ya all beat on the celeb sighting. I have only seen one celeb at the many times I have been to Disneyland, but it was all thats needed for no other celeb encounter will top it.

While getting off of the Haunted Mansion ride, I walked past.....

PRINCE!!!!!

Just got back last night from 5 days there and had overheard that Gwen was there from a CM.

They said something about how they were using a "backdoor" to get her into the park then mentioned someone else was there as well but I didn't hear who it was.

Also

My wife was standing in line for a churro a couple of days ago near the Haunted Mansion. She said there were two people with sunglasses on that everyone was going ga ga over and was asking for pictures with them.

Of course she had no idea who they were but her description of one person that ran up to them and was saying "Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!" over and over again had me laughing.

OK, didn't notice that on my own, but now I can't look at that picture without seeing the profile
(looks like the Joker, doesn't it?)
Thanks ;)

I'm like jsotelo's wife... I've seen plaids escorting people I'm sure I should know, but I have no clue. In fact I have no idea who some of the celebrities mentioned in this thread are.
:confused3

PRINCE!!!!!

Prince wow!!!!!!
I've seen LL cool L and his family and that's it.. Maybe next week when we go i'll get lucky

In October we saw the girl from Little Miss Sunshine at BTMRR and Ed Bagley, Jr at Storyteller's Cafe. We didn't bother the little girl, but my husband did speak with Ed and then he came over to meet me.
In November we saw John Lassiter (from Pixar) and his family near Indy. The next day, my husband ran into him in DCA and, of course, talked to him. John asked him how he recognized him, and he said that we had just seen him on Dinner Impossibe on the Food Network.

LL Cool J

(Ladies Love Cool James) - hee hee

That would be so cool to see him... I'm a big fan.

we saw j lo's husband and we assumed one of the girls had to be her that was with him, the girls were low key, but not him. . . had the sunglasses, the hair, the pants, the shoes, you knew he was someone.

we found out later who it was., sorry no pics.

In October we saw Luis Gonzales (plays for Dodgers). He was at DCA. My hubby looked like a little kid when he saw him. (even though DH is a huge Giants fan!) It was the end of the night at the Mickey's Halloween Town party thingy. He was with his son and they both looked SOOOO exahusted!! They were with a plaid too.
Was exciting though. I really enjoyed watching my hubby get so excited!

I can't remember if I've seen anyone this year.

But last year, we saw:
Paris Hilton
Joey Lawrence
Seth Green
Macaulay Culkin

I know there are others, but I am tired, and I can't recall.

Over Thanksgiving we saw Reba Macintyre (excuse spelling). I was suprised to see a celebrity over such a crowded weekend, but maybe they just fall into the crowd. No one else seemed to notice that she was there.

This is kind of cheating cuz she was actually here for a reason but this is Jane Seymour at Candlelight Processional

And this is I think Michelle Kwan. She was there shooting some type of spot.

And this is Pam Anderson. We saw her in October. She was there with her new hubby Rick Solomon. He is in the Red shirt. Her kids were there too.

We were there last year and saw some kid who everyone was taking pictures of but I had NO idea who he was. DH thought he was some X games star or something. And this past weekend there was another gal that had people with her that dh also said was someone but I didn't recognize her either. No one else seemed to either but her kids were TOTAL brats whoever she was :lmao:

I am sure a lot of them, when you see them in real life, you don't recognize because they are so made down that you have no idea. Plus you are so into doing your own thing you just don't pay attention. I walked right by Pam and dh said Hey that is Pam Anderson and I didn't even notice LOL.

We just saw DB Sweeney in line for Small World the other day. He isn't a huge star, the biggest movie he was in was Cutting Edge I think but I love that movie!
