I know there are a few of us whose kids have recently (or are soon having) their Year 11 prom.

Since I am looking for an excuse to shamelessly show off my beautiful daughter, I thought we could post some pics of our kids proms here

She did Elaine - she had a lovely time. Apparently the food was pretty dire but they did a balloon release, which she said was fun. I'm sure it was worth all the stress, effort and expense

Oh definitely I've got a year to persuade my middle DD to go to her prom ~ she's like Libby's DD and doesn't like fuss.

Neither does Rea - yesterday is only the second time I've ever seen her with make-up on. She really did enjoy it though - and I think she secretly loved the chance to look a bit girly for a change
