I am so excited that I can't contain myself! We recently returned from a 4 night cruise, and when my DH realized that he would really only have to take 1 more day off work to do the 7 day, he told me to go ahead and book it!

I noticed that one of them you get more days at sea - But I would love to hear feedback as to which one you all would recommend!

Thanks for any info!

Karen,

After having taken a 4 day you will love the 7 day cruise, so much more time to enjoy things.

We've taken the Eastern and it is very nice and gives you 3 full days at Sea.

We are booked on the Western this May. This gives you one more port (Key West) and 2 1/2 days at Sea (you get into Key West at noon).

I suggest that you check out the trip reports on this board and then go check out Dave's site as well as Barb and Tony's site. (I'm sure someone will post the links - I'm link challenged) :)

Only you can decide which ports would be best for you. My opinion is that you can't go wrong with either!

We have chosen the eastern for our first 7 day cruise.

We picked the eastern mainly because it's slightly less expensive (why is that?) and because the ports aren't that important to us.

In fact I'd be happy if we got on a boat that had nothing but sea days and one day at Castaway Cay!

Probably the best advice for choosing between eastern and western is to look at the ports and the excursions offered at each port and choose based on that.

Either way post and let us know what you picked!

Thanks for all of your input -

I am familiar with Dave's and Barb and Tony's site - Those sites are so helpful (along with these message boards) when planning a Disney Cruise -

Thanks again!

MJ - Thanks for the link to your pictures! What a beautiful family you have! It really looks like you had a lot of fun!

See, I don't know if we would like the extra day at sea - Is there enough to do on the boat so you won't get bored? (I think I already know the answer to that one!)

This choice is not getting any easier for me - We probably won't do a lot of excursions since our daughter will only be 5 - But shopping is my middle name!

I think I might end up flipping a coin - LOL!

Karen

Thank you Karen...believe me, flipping a coin might just be the answer!!! You will enjoy either itinerary!!!

Good luck in your decision!!
