I was listening on my way home from work and almost drove off the freeway when I heard Teresa mention my e-mail. Thanks Teresa:thumbsup2. I am more than confident now about riding the Teacups and excited too. You hit my thoughs exactly, when I think of Disney I think of the Dumbo ride and those crazy Teacups. So with your advise making me feel excited and giddy, I am going to dope up on Bonine and ride those crazy cups. ( I promise to do it before breakfast:rotfl2:)

good email :goodvibes - i'm sure there are others out there who were wondering that (not me - i already know i can't ride the teacups anymore....too bad though, they were fun)...

Kinda makes you really wonder how many people actually need cleanups after the teacups?

We were there during the 2ND parade so there was no waiting. I thought I would get dizzy... but we went slow and it was fine. I really liked it and will do it again if it isn't too long of a wait.

Thanks Nancy, I was afraid that it would be constant spinning.

Yes, that was a great email! :)

When we first went to WDW in February 2008, DH chose not to ride the Tea Cups with us. Due to a close-call while riding the Tilt-a-Whirl with the kids at a local carnival years ago, DH prefers not to spin around and around. I rode the Tea Cups with the kids, my nephew and my BIL. Despite BIL spinning us around like a maniac, I surprisingly didn't get sick.

In August 2008 at Dutch Wonderland (Lancaster, PA), I had my own close-call while riding the Tilt-a-Whirl with the kids. :scared1: Never, EVER again.

This past February, we went to WDW and the kids begged for the Tea Cups. DH and I were a bit hesitant (given his old knowledge and my new found knowledge about the Tilt-a-Whirl), but we agreed to the ride. However, we only allowed the kids one or two big spins and that was it. The kids were good sports about it. We promised them that when we go back in late November, they can ride the Cups alone and spin to their heart's content.
