If you're talking about the Hess that's outside DTD, I don't recall seeing a car wash. Hope this helps!

The Hess gas station across from DTD does not have a caw wash. However, the Hess station across the street from the Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios does have a car wash.
I am not positive, but I believe the gas station as you exit the MK area also has a car wash.

Not really. The Shell station that you pass at Entry Point Blvd and Sherberth on the back way into Animal Kingdom does not have one, as far as I know. The only one I can think of is a Mobil station near Celebration on 192 on the other side of I-4...probably a half mile or so after you cross I-4.

Yes, the "one outside of MK" that I was referring to is the "car care center".

The Magic Kingdom Hess does not have a car wash. The only hess on property to have one is the one near boardwalk.

I have never been in May so I had to search about what Love Bugs are. One of the threads I found mentioned it's worse if your wearing white. Is the wearing white factor significant? We go May 2nd and tend to wear lighter colors for heat.

Not sure what you found out about them, but the nastiest discovery we made was how SOFT they are....so if you try to brush them off, you squish and smear them.....bleeeecccchhhhh......Also, they stick to sunscreen, so try to use a less-sticky kind. Blech again! But hopefully the glorious weather in May will make up for them! . Have fun!

They are made of wetted, softened concrete solution. Expose their innards to air and they quickly harden.
