Yea! Just booked Grand Villa at AKV!

I am so excited I can't stand it!! We bought AKV 3 years ago and planned to take our kids and grandkids and until now have not been able to work everyones work vacation times and school vacation times into a workable plan. We finally pinned them down and I just booked a week for Memorial Day week 2011. My kids have never been for more that a quick 4 or 5 day commando trip and they are always exhausted by the end. I can't wait to show them the "right " way to do Disney and have time to do parks as well as resort down time. We will have 6 kids from 7-15 years old. There will be 12 of us in the Villa. Only problem now is waiting 11 months!

That is so exciting! Are you in Kidani or Jambo? We were in the Jambo GV and I thought it was fabulous! The details of the decorating is amazing!

But there's more privacy for the other two bedrooms at Kidani than at Jambo House because the bedrooms do not share a wall. But then again Jambo House doesn't have stairs and that's good for toddlers and some of the older generation too.

Whichever building CocosMeme gets, I know it will be fabulous for her family.

Congratulations!! You're gonna have a wonderful time!! I know exactly how you feel. We booked a GV last year for this Sept/Oct. I can't wait to show our family the reason why we love Disney and how to do it right!!! Congrats again and have the best time!!

Thanks for all the replies. I booked at Kidani because of the extra bathroom ( for teenagers privacy) and the separation of the bedrooms. I like the savannah at Jambo better because the animals seem to be there in the morning and not so at Kidani, but the older boys are interested in trying out the basketball court and Community Hall. I also think the younger ones will like the pool better at Kidani.
