But I won't give you any advice/oppinion cuz you won't listen to me anyway...remember even tho I AM older and wiser

Brandie- the fact that both of your floor plans show "game rooms" right next to the master bedroom has me giggling.

I think I might go car shopping this afternoon........it's still snowing here and down into eastern Mass, so I'm not going to get in the car and spend more time white-knuckle driving on the road than visiting

That sounds like a great idea Ann. I actually stopped at a dealer yesterday and was browsing. I'm ready for a new car
But we really wanted to hang onto my car for Justin when he turns 16 July of next year so if I were to buy now......then my old car would sit for over a year. We have taken good care of it and its in great shape so I hate to let it go as a trade when Justin will be needing a car soon. And I don't want it sitting around for a year and half neither, SO I guess I have to wait

Just popping in to say hi, have had some kinda bug the last couple of days but feel a little better so I think I'm gonna try to enjoy this brief visit from the sun today. It's 57 and sunny right now, supposed to rain all day tomorow then back to subfreezing temps in a few days. Talk to ya'll later!

Hey, ya'll! It was a beautiful day here, today....almost 60 and sunny! After doing laundry all morning , I went over to my friends house (the one I told you guys about who has had all of the strokes, etc) to check on her. Man, that's a tough visit to make, for so many reasons. She's using a walker, is frequently incontinent, and in general need of improving her personal hygiene, as well as getting some help with the house. I see a visit soon just to go over and clean her house. She has an indoor dog--need I say more? Between her and the dog, that place is in serious need of cleaning.

After that, went to the park for the remainder of the afternnon. That was much more pleasant.

Of course, by Tuesday, our forecast calls for snow . Mother Nature just loves to tease.....

Back to work tomorrow after 3 days off. I wish I was rich.

i'm so nervous about this house deal...i'm just so worried that they will come back and say no! we meet with the mortgage people tomorrow after work. i have divorce papers that say that i don't have financial obligation to the house i had with my ex as well as various other credit card debt, etc...but we don't know what's on matthew's credit report...and then we worry that we'll get approved, but not for enough for what we want! this is agonizing...

and then once we get the house, how in the heck are we going to furnish it?! this is just agony...

looks like we'll be eating ramen noodles for the next few months...

Sorry I haven't been around, but I've been sick, and had a totally miserable weekend.

Suffice it to say - my ex STILL causes me misery, and we haven't even seen him for the past 5 years!!! I'm so angry I could SCREAMMMMM!!!!

No Deb, I did not buy a car. And unfortunately the only shopping I ended up doing was on-line, checking out the local Chrysler dealer's inventory of new and used Sebring Convertibles. They have list price on the new ones on the site, but not the used. They have four 2002s so I called today and talked to a salesman about them and I think I may go take a look. They have from 12 to 16K miles on them and range from 5 to 8K less than the list price on the new ones...........so.......maybe that will be my concession to practicality......a pre-owned convertible
We'll see...... The others I want to check are the new Beetle convertibles. They are a little less $ than the new Chryslers, but obviously smaller....DH not crazy about the idea especially for my highway travels to Massachusetts. I just think they are so CUTE which prompts the from DH and DD

ann...matthew thinks that i need to have one of those new convertible beetles...i would love one! but the mommy side keeps kicking me and reminding me that it isn't exactly a practical mommy car...

i'm a bit more relaxed than i was yesterday about this whole house ordeal. matthew was in contact with the loan officer yesterday and our creidt report isn't as bad as i thought it would be! she said that she doesn't think that we'll have any problems getting our house! we have a few unresolved minor issues that need to be cleared up, but other than that, it looks like a green light!! i actually had to find all of the misc paperwork that you need..you know..stuff like pay stubs, w-2's, bank statements, etc. now that was fun..

last night, matthew was trying to tell me that we most likely will not get a vacation away this year. yeah...whatever buddy...i'm looking to december for a few days in disney...

Reader's Digest version: my ex is responsible for 99.9% of my past financial problems. Another problem just hit me over the weekend, and my bank accounts have been frozen. Now I have to go back and see what the problem was, try and fix it, AND convince the stupid people in my Payroll dept. NOT to direct deposit my next paycheck.
