Hello everyone. Hope ya'll had a nice night. I worked on getting some more of our shopping done. Only got 2 more people to shop for and a couple of "odds and ends" to pick up to finish other gifts.
Ann- I'm still in pain but I figure it this way- may just be the best "diet" in the world. The sore tooth/jaw keeps me from being able to eat to much and when my shoulder starts hurting so bad I can't think about anything else to remember that I'm hungry.
I go back to the doc for my shoulder next week and to the oral surgeon January2. Ya'll have a great night, I'm gonna go lay down 'til time to pick Kevin up. Goodnight!

if anyone remembers my son Mike's dilemma last week about the semi formal dance which he all his plans made for and tix bought and then afterwards the coach called a mandatory practice. And if you remember Mike went with his first committment...the dance. We now have the outcome of that....

We played our first basketball game last night and Mike was punished by not starting Someone else started in his place. The other guy played the first 3 minutes of each half before Mike got put in. Of course this did hurt the team. In the first 3 minutes of the 2nd half they fell down by 10 points before Mike went in. After he went in we came back and stayed within a point either way and were tied in the last minute...but we lost it. So it is MY oppinion that the coach blew this game by making sure Mike got punished
Mike played well tho and thats all that matters to us

well I got a lot of little things left to do for Christmas today

Trying to get all of trees decorated before Luminaria tomorrow evening...It is a huge event in our area of town. Horse drawn sleighs, live nativities, people come from all over the city to see street after street lined with luminaries. It is beautiful...Just if we had a little more snow, that would be nicer....

ok, well must type a little and then wrap Savannah's gifts....Wow...I am so hoping we get to Christmas without telling her about the trip...We bought her AP last night at DS....Now to get a big box to wrap it in....

I'm SO tired...lots of Xmas shopping today but not very efficiently in between trips around town to driver's ed and such. Heading out momentarily to drop DH at a friend's, go pick up a powerball ticket (I'll host a cheerleader meet in the presidential suite if I win the 120 mil, I promise !) and then the dreaded grocery shopping uugghh. Then crash on the couch to watch figure skating I think, til I have to go out and get DD at 11 But still rather be the chauffeur I guess than one of the other kids driving

Cookie, thought of you today, saw a Barry Xmas CD , didn't buy it though, I bought a Celtic sounding one.

Well, Gail, I have this THING about Xmas CD's. It seems when I buy one that is all songs by the same artist, I don't really like it as much as ones with a bunch of different performers. I do like my Gloria Estefan one and my Kenny G one...........but the rest of the ones I have aare songs by a variety of artists. After listening to the Celtic one though, I must admit I wish I'd bought Barry.!!

Hope everybody had great Saturday! I woke up to a flood in my laundry room today. Seems our water heater had busted. So tomorow we get to get a new water heater and help my Dad install it before I go to work. Should be a fun day.

but I can say that I HAVE ALL MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING DONE what a great feeling and over a week to go before Christmas .....I can just take it slow and enjoy the season most of my wrapping is done too. See what you can accomplish when you have no access to the DIS.....things get done

<b>Thank you ALL</b> for the get well wishes. Thursday by far was my worst day, I felt absolutely terrible. That was the night of our Christmas party for work and needless to say I had no fun.

I do feel better today, no fever but I could be better.

I have not seen any pics of me yet from DIS CON - not sure if there are any. I did not even take that many, maybe 10 or 15.

I wish I was all done with my shopping - I just do not know what to get some people!

We got home last night after a week at WDW, but didn't do much at Dis Con, just Sunday's farewell breakfast, and then dinner at Boma's with a bunch of DISers on Tuesday, where we saw Cookie, Pandy, and Town Crier. Also met Dan Murphy and Ray Sharpton, and Leslie from PA, and Jfulcer. Under the weather pretty much for the rest of the week, didn't do much. Sorry we missed you SSB, hope you had a great time in Vegas. It's our 2nd favorite place to go on vacation. Hope to be down there again in March or April.

Hi...

Luminaria was beautiful. Took lots of pix. Trees were beautiful...from the outside...hehehe Still not totally decorated from the inside.... My parents came over. George and Mom and I walked to see the live nativity. This year they had a "real" baby. It was quite breathtaking. We had a truly wonderful evening.

Christine - Glad to hear no more fever....I was thinking that I saw pix of you...but now I think that it must have been pix of you and Chrissi that I was thinking of....

MILO - How are you? Good to see you here...

Shellie - Hope all is well with your home now.

Ann - Hope that M feels better.
