Yea!!! A Pod Squad Cruise is in the works -- Thanks Pete!

Tracy -- The quote you provided for me included the DU and the Disney Visa onboard credits...does this mean it wasn't priced using the group rate? I requested thru the link provided in this thread.

I'm sending you a PM.

DCL does not allow stacking Disney discounts. You can not combine DCL group space with a Disney Visa discount.

The Dreams Unlimited Travel shipboard credit is not considered a DCL discount and can therefore be combined with the group space discount.

This not something that is normally done. Dreams Unlimited Travel does not normally offer a shipboard credit on top of the group space discount.

This is a special offer for those interested in the Podcast Cruise.

You mean we're so special...that we qualify for another special? That's so special! :teeth:

"Bob's moe gee toe" drink :drinking1

What a great idea. :thumbsup2

Ok I think it should have a dole whip feel to it, so it MUST include pineapple juice as a main ingredient.:dance3:

Then add whatever else is needed to make it a moe gee toe drink

:moped:

Bawb! They already have pineapple mo-gee-toes on the ship. As a matter of fact I had one on my recent Disney Magic Cruise. It was an interesting "mesh" of flavors. At first, I didn't care for it, but it grew on me and it cost like $8.00 so I drank it anyway!! :rotfl:

Oh and just one really really dumb question... Will this cruise be on the Disney Wonder. I've been on the Magic and sailing on the Wonder would be awesome!

I think I saw 12 weeks somewhere...

Anyone else signed up yet? We'll have to get a list going. Also, maybe you can mention what ages your kids are. Mine will be 16, & 14 and I know they would be interested to know how many other teens might be onboard.

wow - i just looked at the date on the calendar - i can't believe it, but i think it's going to work out perfectly for me..

the FORCE conference is every year in tampa, the weekend of the 15th or so...
which is exactly right after that cruise.....

how did you know?????

i've just sent my first email inquiry about the cruise...this may just work out....i was sure i wouldn't be able to join in...
i might go on the cruise with my sister this time, rather than DH...since i go to the FORCE conference with my sister....
so this cruise had better be extra special nice....my sister is most definitely NOT a disneyholic

It will be me, DH, and our two boys who will be 7 and 5 at the time of the cruise.

We still haven't decided if the kids are going. My vote is yes, DH is no. We both agree the oldest should go but are worried about school - the last time we took her out of school for a Disney Cruise for a week, her brain stayed on vacation for an additional week when we got home and she almost failed english that semester. In any case, if she gets to go, she'll be 15 during the cruise. Do you have boys or girls? Have you been over to the cruise board and seen the post from the girl is now 22 but was saying what she did when she was 16 on a Disney cruise? :scared1: I think if my DD gets to go on this cruise, she'll be on a much tighter rein on her on this cruise!

Oh my!!! I missed that thread - do you have the link? I suppose some people can always find "trouble" if they want to.

No!!!!! I have to go see if I can find it! or if you can post a link, that would be great!
I guess it may be a good thing it will just be DH & myself for the cruise. DS's 10 & 15 will not be going because they will have already missed a few days of school for our November trip. Of course, this is only if we actually cut the cords. DH and I have never been away from our boys for more then overnight. :sad2:

Requested a quote, now just deciding. We've never done a cruise and have been talking about one for spring 2009 anyway.

DD will be 16, DS will be 14...so if your oldest goes, she'll have some company. I'm afraid to look at the thread you mentioned...and I certainly hope DD doesn't find it as I wouldn't want her to think there is no supervision onboard.

Gosh -- I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since our last Disney Cruise. We went on one of the first sailings of the Wonder back on 9/9/99 (is that an easy date to remember, or what?) and managed to slip in between two hurricanes. I was surprised they still had all my Castaway Club info on file!
