YC water view vs. garden view

So, we decided to stay at the YC... leaning toward requesting a lake view, but is it really worth the extra money. I know its not too much more, but how are the garden rooms in comparison to location and view?

Depending on where your room is located, the water view at YC is spectacular !!! Of course, they can't guarantee a specific room, but if you go to the YC & BC FAQ thread on this board, you can get a good idea of which rooms will have a Crescent Lake view. If you're lucky enough to get on the 3rd or 4th floor facing the lake, you will have a lovely view of BW and Epcot (with a possible Illuminations view).

Does water view also include quiet pool? I would be disappointed with that. Disney.com says water view is lake or pool.

water view does include the quiet pool...as well as SAB...

It definitely could include the quiet pool. That's why I suggested looking at the room maps on the YV/BC thread to get an idea of room locations. WDW is not thrilled when you ask for specific rooms, but you can certainly ask for a room in a certain area. Again, remember there are no guarantees.

Also remember if you have a view of SAB and you're on the 3rd or 4th floor, you will also have a view of Crescent Lake, since SAB is between the lake and the resort.
