YC renovations

I called the YC today and they said that some of the rooms have been renovated but not all. He said they should be done by Nov. 6th. I told him we were planning to arrive on Nov. 1st but he said there was no guarantee we'd have a renovated room at that time. He also said the kiddie pool and slide are closed.

Can anyone verify this information? I'd really appreciate it.

Saturday the kiddie pool and slide were open. From what I could see, all of the waterfront rooms looked to have been renovated (though I didn't get to examine every single area/floor, it looked like they all had the new boarder on the top of the walls).

OK.. that is weird because the guy just told me it was closed from now until Nov. 6th.

Was just able to get last minute T'giving ressies at YC (11/26-12/2), water view. What type of room renovations have they done?

From what I've heard they put in new carpet, bedding, paint, furniture, etc. Someone posted below that they just got back from YC and had a refurbished room... I would ask that person to get more specifics.

From what I have read here on the boards lately, it seems that the 5th floor concierge, 3rd floor and 1st floor have been renovated. I guess they are still finishing up the 2nd and 4th floors.

I also noticed this summer when we visited that the lobby looked like it had been repainted and freshened up also. The rooms have been redone with new carpeting, draperies, bedspreads, and furniture. Can't wait to see it for myself!
