YC or GF boat to MGM?

I'm making an impromptu trip on Memorial Day Weekend (insane, I know! )

I'm actually thinking about shelling out the big bucks for the YC or GF because I don't want to load up my scooter in and out of a car (long story, broken bone). As I don't think we'll be getting to AK this trip, I'm mostly worried about how to get to MGM. I do NOT want to deal with a bus. Does anyone know if either of these resorts have boat service to MGM?

The Yacht Club has boat service to MGM. The GF has boat service to the Magic Kingdom. They are in very different locations. You may be better off staying at the Yacht Club because it you will have easier access to MGM and Epcot.

Yes! I second YC because you have boat access to both Epcot and MGM (as stated) and if you want to hit up MK, you can just go through Epcot and take the monorail and avoid the bus entirely.

Thank you Dawn, this is what I was looking for! I figured I can use the monorail service to get to Epcot from GF, but didn't know how to get to MGM. We really want to see some of the Star Wars stuff. I hadn't thought about the fact that it would be helpful to be so close to MGM since that's probably more where I want to go rather than Magic Kingdom. Thanks much!!

I know someone who uses an ECV and recently stayed at the Dolphin. They share boat service to both MGM & Epcot. He was very happy to be able to ride down a ramp and right onto a boat with ease. He said he'd stay in the Boardwalk area again in a heartbeat.

Check the Beach Club if theres no availbility in YC...We stayed there once and it's a fun resort.
