Both resorts are conveniently located to the BW, MGM and Epcot. You can't beat the location. You are also a stone's throw from probably 30 or more dining options.
Both the YC/BC have rooms that are larger in size than AKL, or CBR, but only the YC offers full size balconies with all their rooms.
SAB is a big draw and is a wonderful pool! As mentioned above, there are many areas; sinking sands, whirlpool, deep lazy river area, and two slides - the large one from the pirate ship to the main pool, and a smaller one in the pirate ship that empties into a smaller kids pool.
The YC is a more 'stately' resort, where as the BC is more 'casual'. The color decor at the YC is a bit darker, (lobby mainly, which is gorgeous) and nautical in theme. The BC has lighter colors and is a beach theme. Some think that the YC is more snobbish, but that is not true, the lobby area just seems to be quieter than the BC lobby. The CM's at the YC are great and go the extra mile.
All rooms at both the YC/BC have the mini bar with a selection of drinks and snacks that are steeply priced. You are paying for the convenience, but you can opt not to take a key for the refrigerator portion of the mini bar.
So after all is said, my vote goes with the YC, but then again I am partial to our favorite resort!
