How kid-friendly is the Yacht Club? I have a 4 and 6 year old and want them to experience the magic on-site as I think on-site reorts would be especially accomodating to the little ones.
I have read some conflicting posts about the YC and I am confused.

My girls are well behaved and accustomed to travelling. But I want them to be able to have fun at the resort .

I wouldn't worry at all about kids and the YC. Our kids seem similar to yours. They have travelled a lot and are well behaved. We even took them to Europe for 16 days when they were 4 and 6 and they LOVED it. We take them to nice restaurants often too.

We were at the YC in August and our kids were 5 and 7 at the time, they loved it. Everyone was very nice to them and the pool was a big hit. I did find that most of the kids at the YC were very well behaved but still having lots of fun.

Go and enjoy.

Thanks so much for the reassurance.

My 3 year old son still talks about our stay at the YC! :) Housekeeping left different towel animals for him every night and also arranged all his stuffed animals and toys. :) It was the highlight of his day to come back to our room. :) He also loved Stormalong Bay and still talks about the sand and the waterfall. ;) I think it's a great place for kids. :) The Beach Club too. :)

The sandy beach area of Storm a Long Bay is the perfect spot for your children. And they will have plenty of company too! I'm sure they will love the YC, and so will you!:):):)

My DD's were 4 and 6 when we stayed at the YC. They loved it!! They thought SAB was the best place ever. When we were at the parks they kept asking to go back home - meaning YC!

I think the BC is more kid friendly. There is a little sitting area set up for kids with a TV playing Disney movies all the time, during busier times there are storytelling sessions in the lobby as well. I find the decor more inviting and casual--the YC is nice, but feels "stiff and formal" to me--even more so than the GF!

Just my 2 cents.

Anne

The YC has the sitting area for kids with Disney movies playing also. ;) It's in the lobby near the check-in area.
