SUPPOSEDLY, our internet problem was solved this morning, so *maybe* I'll be able to get online for more than 10 minutes at a time in the evenings now! We'll see if it lasts...hopefully it will. :)

The problem was apparently the signal reaching our modem was stronger than the modem could handle unless a lot of people's TVs were on. During the day, people at work, fewer TVs, too strong of a signal, modem goes out. Late evening, lots of TVs on, stuff works. So they did something to the line to make sure it won't spike too much for the modem any more. Supposedly.
 
I'm just now back after a week of no internet at home...Hope all goes well for you too...:)
 
I know that feeling all too well... it stinks when you can't access the internet from home. We had line trouble as well on ours (totally different problem, but affected us all the same) Glad you are back though and I hope it stays fixed :)
 

Glad you are back on! I hate having to pay that cable modem bill after that happens!:rolleyes:

Rajah, I'm glad you're back online.:) You're lucky your modem didn't go crazy and damage your computer. I hope they have the problem fixed.:) Welcome back.:)
