So I quit BK. (yes, shame shame) But I was literally sobbing at the thought of going back there. Anyways, I quit Wednesday. I got a new job yesterday at a local pizzeria. I was incredibly incredibly nervous but I decided to give it a chance anyways.
So right at the beginning I knew it was going to be better. The manager was soooo friendly. He even helped me fill out the tax forms. Then he gave me a brand new t-shirt and hat (the correct size, I might add.) And he was so great at training me at the salad bar and stuff. He mentioned all the little things and guidelines that they go by.
Best part? FREE PIZZA! You can eat pizza and drink diet coke alllll day long.
They still tuck their shirts in (*gag*) but they wear aprons so it covers it up. I stayed very busy stocking and cleaning the salad bar and really got into the groove of things.
Can I mention again how great the manager was? He said 'You can never ask too many questions.' and he was always close by to ask anything I might've been wondering. He never acted annoyed at all.
At about 4:00 I noticed where the clock was so that last half hour just dragged by. And my feet and back had really started to hurt at this point.
But anyways, I really like it. Sure, I might grow bored and such, but for now it's WAYYYY better than BK.
(Also, I love that all their ingredients are really fresh. At BK all that processed crap just sorta grossed me out. But here they make their own everything and it's just very clean and fresh in this restaurant.)
Am I just fidgeting to get the chance to be back there? No. Of course not! I'd still rathar be at home doing nothing.
But I think it will be bearable and the enviroment will be friendly.
So, don't mind my long speech. Back to your regularly scheduled DISing.
