Yay it's May!

Yay for you guys*!!! :thumbsup2 How exciting!!!

We are nine days away from our family trip :cool1: and my youngest (DS8pirate:) has no clue. I had to tell the my girls (DD15princess:, and DD13princess:) cuz missing middle school is a big deal!! So they will be doing lots of homework this weekend!! LOL

Maybe we will see eachother there!!

Next Friday [early] morning we'll be boarding our flight! Our kids know...we couldn't keep it a secret. My 6.5 year old has bionic ears. She has been hearing my hubby and I discuss hotels, prices, hoppers...no keeping secrets from her.
Disneyland here we come! :dance3:

Yay for May!!!! I woke up and looked at my husband and said "We go to Disneyland this month!" He jumped out of bed with a smile on his face. Okay, he didn't jump. :rotfl: We don't leave until the 24th, but I hope everyone with the earlier trips has a blast! And how fun to plan the surprise for your kids. I'm sure they'll be super excited!!

Thanks everyone!!! We are actually going to Vegas first because my two daughters have a dance competition there. So we actually leave on Friday the 8th spend two days in Vegas then on Mother's day we will head to Disneyland very early!!:thumbsup2

We've decided we won't till DS till we arrive. Unless he figures it out first. My DH says if he asks why/how we got there, he is going to reply...." I guess I took a wrong turn on the freeway, looks like we will just have to spend the week here at Disneyland!!" :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I am so stinkin' excited!! I can't believe he hasn't heard us talking about it!!:confused3

Yay for May!!

We don't arrive in Anaheim until the 27th, but it's coming fast :cool1:

Hope everyone going this month has a blast. :woohoo:

We are so excited we can now say 1 week, 6 days!!!! coming from Australia and I really don't think I can wait any longer.:yay:

Only 10 more days for us! And the kids have no clue.

How are you keeping it a secret? I would be busting to tell them.:lmao:

(Still hoping to get a few more interested in another share group so I can add you to the list-keep your fingers crossed :wizard:)

We leave next Friday :cheer2: We also fly out of Seattle in the morning, but have a super early morning connecter flight from North of the Border

Our 6 year old DD does not know we are going to Disney.

Yet

Hopefully we will be able to keep it a secret till then.

P.S. hlbtimes2 are you flying out of Seattle, what airline are you on.

We fly into SNA at 11:20am. But we leave Victoria at 6 am:eek:

P.S.S roadtodisney hey were are you connecting from into Seattle

We leave in 23 days!! We are super excited and our 3 sons don't have a clue we are going either. They think we are going in September - which we are - but don't know we have planned an earlier trip. My mom and sister are in on the planning and are helping us on the Sat. before we leave (Mem. wknd) to take my kids somewhere fun to "celebrate" school being over and to give DH and I time to pack.

We leave at 7:40 am on Mem. Day and arrive at LGB at 8:30 am! We will have to be up at about 4 to be ready to leave on time and figure we (DH and I) will be so excited that we won't be able to keep very quiet and that will wake up the kids. Then we'll ask them if they want to go to DLR. Our DS 12 is going to know that we are going the wrong way when we drive North to the airport instead of South to Anaheim. I figure we can tell him we are trying a different way this time - FLYING - instead of driving for 10 hours!!!

DH and I are already soooo excited we almost can't stand it! :rotfl2: My other DSis is also going to DLR this month, but she is going on the 21st, her DH is in the Military and they have those tickets and for her almost 8 yr. olds b-day. She is surprising her kids, too. Although one of hers has figured it out. We talk about it constantly, we just can't help ourselves. :lmao:

We are so excited to be leaving May 9th. Our 2 kids 3 and 7 have know idea about the trip. We plan on flying in telling the kids we are on vacation in California. We plan on swimming at the hotel and then grabbing an early bite to eat at Bubba Gumps. Then we will just drive into Disney to catch the last parade and fireworks.
:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Sounds like you all are going to have a great time! I love the idea of suprising the kids. How fun is that!

Maybe we'll see some of you around the park. DD9 and I will be there a few more times this month, May 7th, for sure and then who knows. She's off track until May 29th so we are having our own little "staycation" here-so we can save up for our trip to WDW in Sept. :goodvibes
