Yard Sale question...

I am putting together a yard sale for later this month to try to make a little more money for our trip.

I have quite a few kid's toys to sell. Many of them are battery operated. I don't want to provide batteries with them as that would be expensive, but I am thinking that people will want to be sure it works. How do you handle this?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

You could do one of two things. Either go to the Dollar store and buy the really cheap batteries, or have batteries on hand to test the toys but don't include them in the purchase.

I usually send the kids into the house to grab test batteries. That way the people can test the item but I dont have to include the batteries. Or you could watch store ads for cheapie batteries to be on sale. Walgreens sometimes have their brand on sale for very little $$.
